Maxxis tyres: Premitra for winter, Bravo for the trail
Maxxis was founded in Taiwan in 1967 as a bicycle-tyre maker and, by its own account, is still the world's largest bicycle-tyre manufacturer. On the car side Maxxis is known in Europe mainly for winter and all-terrain tyres designed for Nordic and Alpine conditions.
Winter is where Nordkit's Maxxis range is largest: Premitra Snow WP6 and WP6 SUV for a Central-European winter, Premitra Ice 5 SP5 and SP5 SUV, SS-01 Presa SUV Ice and SP-02 Arctic Trekker as Nordic friction tyres, and the studded NP5 and NS5 Premitra Ice. For year-round driving there are AllSeason AP3 and AP3 SUV and the older AP2.
For summer there are Victra Sport VS5 and VS5 SUV for sportier driving and the Bravo A/T AT771 all-terrain tyre for pick-ups and 4x4s. Every tyre shows the EU label, 3PMSF mark and DOT year; by default the list shows only tyres available as a set of four.
