Terms of sale

1. General

By placing an order the buyer confirms that they have read and accept these terms.

Matters not covered here are governed by Estonian law, in particular the Law of Obligations Act and the Consumer Protection Act.

The seller may amend these terms; the version in force at the time of the order applies to that order.

2. Prices and product information

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping is added at checkout and shown before payment.

Product photos are illustrative. The finish (mirror-polished stainless or black powder coat) and dimensions are stated on the product page.

If a price is clearly wrong due to an error, the seller may cancel the order and refund any payment without delay.

3. Orders and formation of contract

An order is considered placed once payment has been received. The contract takes effect when the seller sends an order confirmation by email.

If an ordered item cannot be supplied, the seller informs the buyer as soon as possible and refunds within 14 days.

4. Delivery

Stock items normally ship within 3–10 working days. Made-to-order items take 20–35 days, as stated on the product page.

Delivery is to a parcel locker or by courier. Oversized items (bull bars, side steps, side bars) are always sent by courier.

The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery details; extra costs caused by incorrect details are borne by the buyer.

5. Right of withdrawal

A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods by notifying us by email or using the withdrawal form.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to order or customised to the buyer's specification (Law of Obligations Act § 53(4)(3)). Each product page states whether the item is stock or made to order.

Returned goods must be unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. The buyer is liable for any decrease in value beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and properties of the goods.

The buyer bears the direct cost of return unless the return is due to a defective item.

Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, but not before the goods have been returned.

6. Complaints

The seller is liable for non-conformity of the goods for two years from delivery. During the first year the defect is presumed to have existed at delivery.

Send complaints to info@nordkit.ee with the order number, a description and photos of the defect.

The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, accident, overloading, lack of maintenance or normal wear. Surface rust on stainless steel caused by lack of maintenance in winter conditions is not a defect.

7. Installation and use

Installation is the responsibility of the buyer or their chosen workshop. Fitting kits and instructions are included in every box.

Some products — for example front protection bars without EC type approval — are not intended for use on public roads; this is noted on the product page. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the fitted part complies with traffic law and technical requirements.

8. Disputes

Disputes are settled by negotiation. Failing that, a consumer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Endla 10a, Tallinn, avaldus@tarbijakaitseamet.ee) or use the EU online dispute resolution platform.

The court of jurisdiction is Pärnu County Court unless agreed otherwise.
