Hankook tyres: a Korean maker producing for Europe in Europe
Hankook Tire & Technology was founded in Seoul in 1941 and is today among the world's largest tyre manufacturers. A large share of its European tyres is made at the Hankook plant in Rácalmás, Hungary; the European technical centre is in Hanover, Germany. Hankook is an original-equipment supplier to several car makers.
