Goodride tyres: a large maker's more affordable line
Goodride belongs to Zhongce Rubber Group, in business since 1958 and by its own account China's largest tyre manufacturer. The Goodride brand was created in 1997 for international markets; the same maker's other brand is Westlake, whose patterns largely overlap.
Nordkit's Goodride range is strongest in all-season and winter tyres: Z-401 for year-round driving, Z507, SW608 and SW618 for stud-free winter, Z506 with studs and SW612 for vans. For summer there are Z-107 and Z506 for everyday cars and Solmax 1 for higher speed ratings. For SUVs and pick-ups there are SL369 A/T and SU318 H/T.
Goodride is a sensible choice when a car covers few kilometres or a decent tyre at a moderate price is needed. The EU label shows fuel efficiency, wet grip and noise class exactly as for any other brand, so the comparison is fair.
Which Goodride tyre to choose
Z-401
Goodride's all-season tyre with the 3PMSF mark — the most common Goodride pattern at Nordkit. Suits a low-mileage city car that does not drive in deep snow.
SW608 and SW618
Stud-free winter tyres with a Central-European pattern: snow, slush and cold wet roads. SW618 is newer and available in more sizes.
Z507
Nordic-style stud-free winter tyre for ice and packed snow, 3PMSF-marked — Goodride's most common winter pattern in Estonia.
Z-107 and Z506
Everyday summer tyres for mid-size and smaller cars. Z-107 comes in more sizes, Z506 is quieter and more comfort-oriented.
Solmax 1 and Solmax 1 SUV
Higher-speed-rated summer tyre for sportier cars and SUVs, with an asymmetric pattern for wet grip.
Z506, SW606 and SW612
Z506 is a studded car winter tyre, SW606 a studded van tyre and SW612 a stud-free van winter tyre (C-rated). Studs are factory-fitted.
SL369 A/T and SU318 H/T
SL369 A/T is an all-terrain tyre for pick-ups and 4x4s, SU318 H/T a highway tyre for SUVs.
